About the Team The Restructuring Delivery Team (“RDT”) is part of the Core Restructuring Advisory Team and the wider Transactions service line. The RDT is a new national virtual team, which manages all insolvency appointment day-to-day responsibilities taken on by RSM. The team is made up of approximately 30 people, based across the country, predominantly consisting of a mix of students, junior staff, and more experienced staff providing guidance, training, and support. The RDT will support the practice not only in delivering high-quality, compliant insolvency processes but also complementing complex cases and suggesting solutions to ensure that we achieve the best result for an insolvent entity’s stakeholders. Overall Job Purpose An exciting opportunity to work within the newly created Restructuring Delivery Team, alongside our graduate and school leaver intake making a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of the RDT.

Corporate insolvency experience is essential. You will be expected to undertake tasks within RDT and make a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of RDT. The team is split into ‘seats’ each of which covers a specific area of insolvency such as ‘investigations’ or ‘closure’. The primary focus of the role will involve working on a national basis supporting the RDT and communicating with RSM colleagues in their local office/region. The role is not expected to involve attending marketing events; however, the right candidate can continue to do this locally and support Partners with marketing and business objectives should they wish to do so. The nature and the structure of the team mean that the workflow is more predictable and is adaptable to a suitable work/life balance. Responsibilities Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assisting and supporting the Restructuring Delivery Team. Assisting and supporting the delivery of processes of each RDT seat in accordance with RDT standard procedures and relevant compliance. Dealing with all pre-appointment Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation matters. Dealing with all non-asset and complex investigation post-appointment insolvency matters across all Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations, Administration, and Compulsory Liquidation matters. Preparing statutory documentation as required and instructed by RDT managers. Preparing letters and reports for Core subject to seat requirements. Producing letters to creditors and employees as required. Agreeing and adjudicating on creditor claims. Payment of distributions to preferential and non-preferential creditors. Supporting with ERA tasks. Ensuring assigned diary lines are completed within the deadline. Corresponding and liaising with HMRC to obtain tax clearance to close cases. Assisting with the closure of cases when undertaking tasks in the ‘closure’ seat. Inputting data onto the internal systems, IPS, and Virtual Cabinet. Completing and submitting timesheets within deadlines and budgets. Personal and Professional Qualities The role requires: Qualifications: CPI qualification beneficial but not a prerequisite for the role. Experience/Attributes: 2 – 3 years’ experience in Restructuring Advisory and/or Insolvency in a similar role. Good understanding of IPS or similar case management system. Strong organisational and time management skills and able to demonstrate a strong commercial outlook. Proven communication skills due to internal stakeholder management. Commitment to high-quality delivery within agreed timeframes.
