Contribute to the development of specialised programmes relating to resuscitation and the deteriorating patient. Play an active role in the multidisciplinary team of Trust-wide staff and stakeholders involved in resuscitation and the deteriorating patient. To identify and participate in trials and evaluations of resuscitation and other related equipment. Provide basic life support training (adult and paediatric) to all levels and disciplines of staff across the Trust. Will provide intermediate and advanced life support training to appropriate groups of staff.
The post holder will assist in maintaining resuscitation equipment requirements by ordering supplies through standard ordering procedures. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate. The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first month's pay.
