At our Preston site, we are seeking to recruit an Engineering Supervisor who will be responsible for supporting the Site Engineering Manager and Retail Production Manager to ensure the smooth running of the production lines whilst handling breakdowns and ensuring daily preventative maintenance checks are completed. Shift:

Retail Permanent shift pattern, Sunday 6am – 2:30pm Monday 6am – 6:30pm Tuesday 6am – 6:30pm Wednesday 4pm – 11:30pm Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering tasks within the Retail Department. Supervise and mentor a team of engineers. Collaborate with other departments to align engineering activities with organisational goals. Identify and mitigate potential risks. Liaise with Site Engineering Manager to resolve any issues that may arise during project execution. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and efficiencies. Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Develop and implement engineering best practices. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed. Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members. Support the professional development of team members. Qualifications

Strong Engineering Background. Prior Supervisory/Senior Engineer experience. Must display a positive and pro-active attitude. Work well to strict deadlines and have the ability to cope well under pressure. Be reliable and hardworking, with a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work additional hours when required. Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail. A team player with the ability to interact with colleagues across a wide range of departments and businesses.
