Join a leading media group in the Eastern Counties as a Merchandiser and make a real impact on retail sales performance! Our client is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension. As a Merchandiser, you will cover the Ely and Huntingdon area for 3 days a week (Wednesday to Friday, 9-5:30) and carry out essential merchandising tasks at high footfall retailers and supermarkets.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage sales territory by visiting key retailers on a regular basis Ensure optimal placement and visibility of our newspapers and magazines Keep point-of-sale materials up-to-date and effectively promote key selling points Monitor product availability and suggest supply adjustments for maximum availability Identify potential new retail outlets and communicate opportunities to our Retail Sales Manager Collaborate closely with the Content team to capitalise on all sales opportunities Support the Retail Sales Manager with various sales initiatives
