Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Retail Sales Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of sales associates and cafe staff. Your leadership will be crucial in driving sales performance and maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities Supervise and manage daily retail operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Work involved is mainly on weekends and public holidays as shop and cafe remains busy during those times. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation, and cleanliness throughout the store. Maintain accurate records for regulatory purposes and be available during staff sickness and absence to carry out retail sales or post office work. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure product availability. Prepare reports on sales performance, staff productivity, and inventory status for management review. Implement promotional activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally. Proficiency in retail management practices with a focus on supervising teams. Strong administrative skills to maintain accurate records and reports. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse customers. Proven leadership abilities to inspire and guide team members towards achieving goals. Exceptional communication skills to foster positive relationships with customers and staff alike.
