Elite Energy is a market leading company in the renewable energy sector, specialising in the design and installation of energy efficient measures throughout the UK. Utilising the government funding, we undertake measures on customers' homes including the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Panels and Hybrid systems, and Insulation Measures. Due to recent updates with compliance, we are looking for a motivated and engaged Retrofit Designer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will see the ideal candidate completing retrofit designs on all retrofit measures in compliance with PAS 2035 standards. Reporting into our Head of ECO, you will join a growing team responsible for reviewing technical surveys and retrofit assessments, proposed works scheduled, products and installation methods to ensure each prospective design is acceptable and compliant with regulations. Duties:

Management of design to ensure contract compliance with all work specifications and PAS 2035/2030 standards. Review and stay up to date with all existing building regulations relevant to the design works. Conduct meetings and briefings with both internal and external departments and contractors. Work with the Retrofit Coordinator to ensure first-class compliant delivery. Provide constructive feedback to the surveying partners and installers on quality improvements required. Prepare design and specification information for the measures proposed, including requirements for all materials, products, processes and standards in sufficient detail for the installer(s) to work from, ensuring that all requirements of PAS 2035 are met. Determine the condition of existing buildings, identify and analyse defects, including proposals for repair. Work with the Retrofit Coordinator to ensure the intended outcomes of the project are met. Ensure that the Retrofit Coordinator and subsequent teams understand the key features of the design and how the measures should be installed and used. Qualifications:

To be considered for this role you must be either a: Qualified Architect with ARB membership. Architectural Technologist (MCIAT or FCIAT) registered with CIAT. Professional member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB or FCIOB). Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS). Skills:

Previous experience working on PAS 2030 and PAS 2035 is essential. Previous experience working on retrofit projects would be highly desirable. Minimum of 1 year experience within design environment. Good organisational skills and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills. Our hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. This role is office based. Annual salary for this role is £40,000-£45,000, dependent on relevant experience, paid monthly on a PAYE basis.
