Dorset Allied Health Professionals Return to Practice Programme A joint venture by University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust, Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust, and Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Job summary We are offering a supported Return to Practice Programme for AHPs and HCS! If you’re a qualified AHP or HCS looking to return to practice or have previously been on the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) register and live in the Dorset area, we want to hear from you! We can offer a flexible programme of Return to Practice and are interested in hearing from both full and part-time applicants and are happy to discuss individual requirements. We would love to hear from the following: Occupational Therapists ODPs Orthoptists Physiotherapists Podiatrists Prosthetists or Orthotists Radiographers – Diagnostic and Therapeutic Speech and Language Therapists What we offer Our Return to Practice Programme includes supervised placement practice, formal continued professional development, a competency portfolio, and peer support to enable subsequent application for HCPC re-registration. To support you back, contracted hours can be agreed on an individual basis according to service needs and re-registration requirements. Please note - this vacancy is for professions recognized by the HCPC and will be in the form of an Honorary Contract position. In some circumstances, a fixed-term contract as a support worker may be possible. Qualifications

Qualified AHP or HCS profession or Previous HCPC registration - now lapsed Experience

Clinical experience of delivering direct patient care in the UK Post-registration clinical care in a range of settings Please note: Staff recruited are expected to be available to work flexibly across all our Trust locations to meet service demands.
