Revenue Accountant required to join a leading global exploration and production organisation. This is a contract position for 12 months initially. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring complete and accurate accounting and reporting for hydrocarbon revenue, stocks, and over/underlift across all operated and non-operated assets. Preparing and issuing invoices on time, ensuring efficient cash recovery and confirming self-bill invoices in line with expectations. Managing monthly accounting processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and industry best practices. Assisting in the development and enhancement of business intelligence reporting systems, driving automation where possible. Providing weekly cash forecasts and support PRT returns, budget preparation, and other financial processes. Fostering strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure effective collaboration. Supporting the external audit process, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. Key Requirements: Degree-qualified with a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent). Ideally experienced in revenue and production accounting within the upstream oil and gas sector, particularly in the UK North Sea. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels within the organisation. A proactive, flexible approach with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work.
