DOE Purpose of the Role: The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely production, revenue, and inventory information, supporting both business strategy and operational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Management Information & Reporting: Provide high-quality financial and management reporting. Contribute to the development and automation of reporting systems. Support the business strategy and help drive performance and growth. Assist with the external audit process. Collaborate effectively with other business functions to ensure operational success. Revenue & Production Accounting: Ensure accurate accounting and reporting for hydrocarbon revenue, stocks, and over/under-lift across both operated and non-operated assets. Prepare and issue invoices in a timely manner to ensure effective cash recovery. Reconcile accounts and conduct variance analysis to maintain control and reporting accuracy. Manage monthly accounting and reporting in line with industry best practices and company policies. Continuously enhance accounting and reporting processes for improved efficiency. Deliver weekly cash forecasts to the Treasury department. Support tax preparations, including PRT returns, and contribute to the annual budgeting process. Other Duties: Support company-wide initiatives, including EMS, as required. Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the manager. Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: Degree-qualified with a recognized accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent). Extensive experience in revenue and production accounting, particularly within the upstream oil and gas sector (UK North Sea experience is essential). Strong financial systems expertise and proficiency with MS Office applications. Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines and under pressure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels. Proactive, with the ability to work independently and drive change. Familiarity with HSEQ policies and Business Management Systems (BMS).
