Job purpose

We are looking for an experienced Revenue Operations- CRM Manager to join our Commercial Services team, based in Nottingham. As a Revenue Operations- CRM Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the CRM functionality within our ERP system to help build stronger and deeper relationships with our customers. Leading a small team and working closely with colleagues within Europe and North America across Commercial, Finance and Operations, you will analyse and interpret sales and revenue data to help identify trends and create effective CRM strategies to increase engagement, retention, and customer value.

This role is a perfect blend of Business Analysis and CRM Management therefore strong analytical skills, particularly in analysing sales and revenue data as well as in forecast and budgeting to support business impact and strategy, are essential. Experience leading and managing a team is also essential.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Develop and lead the team to deliver an effective CRM solution, liaising with colleagues in both Europe and North America. Manage and maintain the CRM functionality within an ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity of customer data. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Business Development, Operations) to streamline and optimise CRM processes for better stakeholder management. Analyse CRM data to derive actionable insights that improve stakeholder engagement. Develop regular reports including monthly board report on CRM performance, identifying trends, potential leads, and opportunities for growth. Work with teams to identify CRM-related process improvements, such as automating routine tasks (e.g., follow-ups, reminders, event triggers) and managing workflows. Train staff on CRM best practices and ensure consistent adoption across departments. Develop and document CRM policies, procedures, and user guidelines. Ensure a smooth transition between CRM data and the organisation’s scientific project management and business development efforts. Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. A background in life sciences, or a scientific discipline is desired but not essential. Previous experience in a similar role working with customer databases in a numerate and analytical capacity. Strong leadership skills and management experience. Broad knowledge of CRM platforms/ERPs/. Direct experience of using the NetSuite Oracle platform desired but not essential. Strong data analysis skills, including familiarity with Excel, CRM analytics, PowerBI, or other visualisation platforms and business intelligence tools. Experience of analysing sales and revenue data. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategies. Highly numerate with the ability to manage, manipulate and gain meaningful insights and actions from large data sets. A self-starter mind-set, with the ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance. Results driven and delivery focused.
