JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Revenue Recognition Sr. Analyst Location: Dundee, Scotland Grade: 11 POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: This is an opportunity to join a software-driven Company as a key team member within the Corporate Controllership organization. We’re looking for an energetic, positive-minded individual with a strong background and proven track-record in public accounting and/or a corporate accounting role. This position contributes directly to the Company's business growth by helping maximize revenue and identifying potential accounting issues. This position will report to the Global Revenue Controller with indirect responsibility to a regional Revenue Manager. Key areas of responsibility: Analyze revenue allocation adjustments as proposed by RevPro revenue subledger tool Review inputs into allocation models for accuracy and completeness Update RevPro as necessary to correct inputs such as standalone selling prices and contract groupings Ad hoc investigations into customer contracts with material revenue allocations Prepare the annual study on product and services standalone selling prices Review revenue contracts with multiple-performance obligations for compliance to company’s revenue policies and the accounting guidance in ASC 606 Prepare documentation and analyses related to selected sales contracts during the quarter and facilitate communication with external auditors Prepare process documentation and perform controls to support internal audit and control requirements Support finance teams with forecasting and review of orders for future allocation impact Consistently look at process to identify opportunities for improved accuracy and efficiencies Work in a collaborative and globally diverse environment as a team player and perform multiple tasks simultaneously BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related Business discipline 3+ years in corporate finance or accounting role Ability to quickly learn new processes, systems, tools Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure Demonstrate a level of responsibility for taking ownership of projects Experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g. OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with revenue and billing systems RevPro and Zuora Proficient in database management, Salesforce, Oracle, EDW and Hyperion Finance Management systems Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
