Revenues and Benefits Manager (Benefits Lead) Grade 11, Salary £57,136 to £62,978 per annum pro rata 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Permanent Contract Do you have the determination, experience, skill, and passion to deliver in a fast-paced environment? The Leicestershire Revenues & Benefits Partnership is responsible for the delivery of Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit, and Council Tax Support in a partnership agreement with Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, Harborough District Council & North West Leicestershire District Council. Based in Hinckley, the Revenues & Benefits Manager (Benefits Lead) will have operational responsibility for the Benefits & Control teams. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring required service levels are met for all partners by leading and motivating the teams to provide a service that operates at the highest level and delivers the required outcomes. We are seeking someone with management experience in a revenues and benefits environment who will also have extensive knowledge of the legislation and statutory framework affecting service delivery in the Revenues & Benefits Service area. You will need to be competent in verbal and written communication including presentation, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ideally, you should be IRRV qualified, educated to degree level or hold an equivalent professional qualification with evidence of continuous professional development. We are also looking to build on the good work already done to further develop the shared service and expand our service delivery to be fit for the future in the context of emerging technologies, the way we support our local communities, and budget pressures faced by local government. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic DBS and Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. We operate a ‘hybrid working’ model with a mix of office-based, home, and remote working available when suitable. The contractual base will be office-based with agreed flexibility to work from home.
