Revit Architectural expert / BIM Coordinator needed to come into a large facades subcontractor and become technical lead within Revit and BIM.

BIM Coordinator Key Responsibilities Guide project teams through the BIM process, ensuring standards are met and best practices adopted. Coordinate Revit models, perform audits, and manage model exchanges. Oversee model content creation, including complex family structures. Use advanced BIM tools such as Navisworks, BIM360, and Dynamo to support project collaboration. Check models for accuracy, propose adjustments, and monitor implementation. Liaise with project leads to align design development and BIM strategies. Provide training and mentoring to team members on BIM tools and workflows. Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and Employer's Information Requirements (EIR). Assist in developing and running scripts to streamline workflows using Dynamo and related tools.

BIM Coordinator Required Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in the architecture or construction industry, with hands-on BIM coordination. Strong Revit expertise, including model setup, family creation, and troubleshooting. Experience coordinating large-scale projects in a BIM environment. Familiarity with UK BIM standards and protocols, including ISO 19650. Effective communication and organisational skills, with the ability to mentor team members. Proficiency in Office 365 and working knowledge of AutoCAD.

BIM Coordinator Desirable Skills Knowledge of Navisworks, Dynamo, and scripting tools. Experience in sectors such as Facades, Cladding and mixed-use developments. Familiarity with creating and managing BIM documentation like BEPs and EIRs.
