Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality BIM services to the construction industry. They work with major construction companies involved in large projects predominantly in the City of London, gaining 90% of instructions through repeat business. They have established a reputation for delivering an excellent service to their clients. The Job As part of the Design Team, you will produce 2D and 3D BIM ready models from point cloud data to meet client requirements. Along with your technical capabilities, you will be regularly required to communicate with clients on live projects. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work collaboratively and proactively with external modelling suppliers to ensure that they understand and execute every project effectively, encouraging best practices including 2D information. Ensure that all BIM projects deliver a great service by guaranteeing they exceed client expectations and meet company standards in quality, timeliness, communication, and health and safety. Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM-ready models from point cloud data measured by our experienced team of in-house surveyors to a high quality and accuracy. Take the role of Revit Technician for given projects, liaising with project managers, surveyors, and modellers to ensure that the most appropriate modelling workflow, techniques, and software are utilized across the project team. Assist in technically delivering projects in the role of coordination. Be proficient in AutoCAD (at least 1 year experience), Revit (at least 1 year experience), and Navisworks Manage (preferable). Review project files for compliance with standards and protocols. Share relevant information accordingly via the company’s Admin Team. Clean existing DWG files ready to be used as backgrounds within Revit. Liaise with other team members to produce good design solutions as best practice. Prepare own discipline models and/or content for BIM coordination meetings. BIM modelling for specific design discipline. Adhere to BIM execution plan and BIM project workflow criteria. Follow BIM content standards and development procedures. What you’ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you should be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Ideally, you will have a background in construction. Other essential skills and qualifications include: Excellent attention to detail. High standard of work output. A positive attitude. Team player with the ability to work independently and a good sense of humour. Effective communicator. Own transport due to the location of the office.
