We’re looking for a Reward & Recognition Supporter to help us deliver the Trust's reward and recognition strategy. You’ll help engage our people on our pay and benefit policies and job evaluation, which in turn will help ensure we can recruit and retain great people. You’ll be responsible for providing accurate and timely data management, providing great customer service in response to both internal and external reward queries and helping to maintain our pay and benefits policies and processes throughout the year. This role would suit someone who has some experience within a People Team or Reward administration role and is looking to develop their career in Reward further. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. What you'll be doing Your responsibilities will include gathering, managing and analysing a wide variety of Reward data to enable the team to make better decisions. You’ll address Reward enquiries promptly and consistently, collaborating with other internal teams as needed to provide guidance to staff and managers. You will also play a key role in executing the annual Reward activity calendar, focusing on the annual pay review, pay benchmarking, and equal pay initiatives. Additionally, you will help maintain and communicate both new and existing employee benefits throughout the year, promoting their usage, addressing employee enquiries, collaborating with the broader People team, and liaising with providers to ensure benefit operations and a positive experience for clients and customers at every stage. You’ll assist in maintaining the library of role profiles and support the job evaluation process and you will also provide support to the Reward team with various ad hoc tasks and project work. Who we're looking for For this position, we're looking for someone who has: Experience working in People Teams Knowledge of pay and staff benefit processes High level of attention to detail with the ability to present and correctly interpret data Ability to confidently manage sensitive and confidential employee information Competent IT skills, in particular use of Excel with administration and organisational skills Communication skills, dealing with people with tact and sensitivity Experience of working with a varied customer base and providing excellent customer service The package The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
