RF Design Engineer with proven practical experience for cutting-edge defence products. Produce and modify Test Scripts with the in-house TOPSS (Python) tool and Atena Test Set (including NGTS production). Create and modify test scripts in DOORS based on new and modified features required. Run tests on the Atena test set, confirm their functionality (testing the tests) and run on the real Firing Unit Hardware. Contribute to release test reports production and product release. Investigate Failures and conduct Root Cause Analysis. Integrate new builds of SW/FW together with the HW and raise and see through issues and fixes. Qualifications
BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent. A lower-level qualification such as HNC would be acceptable with significant demonstrable relevant experience performing the same/similar work. Essential Skills
Systems/Software Test. Test specification development. Requirements / Verification. Atena / NGTS / Pergase familiarity (desirable). Python/scripting knowledge (basic/intermediate). Root Cause Analysis / Investigation. Computer literate, Microsoft Windows, Office with particular emphasis on Word & Excel. Great communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the business modifying the tone and message according to the audience. Experience
