Job description:
The applicant will be working as part of a design team creating and designing RF microwave amplifiers and subsystems. Experience of working with amplifiers producing up to several hundred watts across the frequency range 20MHz to 20GHz is essential. The applicant must have a good understanding of design tools with experience of schematic capture, component creation and simulation. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of designing a product from concept to production. Filters, switches, receivers, and DC control/power supply experience are also advantageous. Knowledge of USWR monitors and a good understanding of RF microwave test equipment is essential, along with measurement techniques such as low signal and large signal gain, power, harmonics, and intermodulation.
