We are currently seeking an RF Design Team Lead for a leading Defence organisation who are dedicated to advancing cutting-edge products. You will take the lead in designing and delivering some of the most exciting and complex projects within the UK Defence sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the RF and Antenna Team in daily operations.
- Manage work packages to meet project goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with other Team Leads, Group Lead, and Technical Experts.
- Drive the design and delivery of major UK defence projects.
- Provide technical mentorship in RF design.
- Support team career growth in technical or managerial paths.
- Align team efforts with best practices and strategic goals.
Skills & Experience
- RF design/testing across a wide frequency range.
- Strong digital, analogue, and power design skills.
- Proficient with RF design tools (e.g., Microwave Office).
- Knowledgeable in Radio Transceiver architecture.
- Skilled in design for manufacture and test.
- Project management and task planning experience.
