Overview:
RF Embedded Systems Engineer
needed to join a dedicated and passionate team at the forefront of antenna and RF system design, offering an exciting opportunity to work with next-generation technology in a fast-growing industry. Key Responsibilities: Define system-level and sub-system requirements, including link budgets, G/T, and EIRP. Qualify and specify system components, including telecom 4G/5G radios, satcom LNAs, and BUCs. Collaborate with antenna and mechanical engineering teams to develop embedded software solutions for network acquisition, tracking, and antenna control. Oversee the entire product development lifecycle: requirements definition, software architecture, coding, system integration, testing, debugging, and optimization. Prepare technical documentation for design, analysis, integration, and testing. Provide technical expertise for business development and customer proposal preparation. Interpret and negotiate technical requirements with customers, defining solutions and trade-offs. Manage schedules, resources, and risks to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery. What We’re Looking For: PhD or BSc in Physics, Electronic Engineering, or relevant field. Strong understanding of RF, radio, and antenna theory and engineering principles. Proven experience in RF, radio, and antenna product design. Advanced skills in embedded software development, preferably within the telecom industry. Proficiency in C/C++ (knowledge of Python, Java, or scripting languages is a plus). Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR) and DSPs. Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multithreading. Skilled in debugging tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers. Hands-on experience with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet). Knowledge of telecom, satcom, and tracking antennas. Familiarity with PCB schematics, wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi-Fi), and low-level hardware integration.
