Stephen James Consulting are partnering with one of their elderly care clients in the search for a RGN Home Manager based in South Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne.
This purpose-built care home offers a warm, homely atmosphere. The long-standing home provides residents with a variety of activities and has a supportive staff team with strong links to the local community.
You will be responsible for:
Managing, developing, and evaluating all aspects of service provision in the home, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, organisational policies and procedures, and codes of practice. Leading a large team, with a focus on effective management for the success of both staff and relatives. Supervising staff to enable them to maximize their potential through leadership, coaching, support, and guidance. Establishing and maintaining an atmosphere of care based on the values of the provider, emphasizing individual concern and mutual respect between residents and staff. To be considered for this role of RGN Home Manager you will need the following experience:
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within Nursing Care. Active NMC PIN - Essential. Relevant qualifications, e.g., NVQ Level 5 Management. Excellent leadership skills with a coaching and mentoring approach. The role of RGN Home Manager offers a salary of £55,000 - £60,000, with an excellent benefits package and achievable bonus, depending on candidate experience.
