We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and medication administration, with a deep understanding of anatomy. Responsibilities - Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers - Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes - Provide wound care and other nursing treatments as required - Educate patients and their families on health management and self-care techniques - Deliver all clinical care following our established policies and procedures. - Ensure that the care team provides care consistent with the inter-professional, evidence-based care plan. - Oversee patient care during shifts, as needed. - Must be a registered nurse with post-registration experience in a clinical setting. - Knowledge of current legislation in the independent care sector. - Evidence of ongoing professional development. - Strong ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team. Key Responsibilities: Administering medication and developing care plans Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents Ensuring safeguarding principles are consistently upheld Leading shifts as the Nurse in Charge Managing the team and planning shifts Implementing infection prevention and control measures Collaborating with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams Maintaining high standards of clinical governance About You: As one of our Registered Nurses, you will embody compassion, dedication, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You approach challenges with confidence and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for those in your care. While prior experience in a similar role is beneficial, it is not essential. To be successful in this role, you will need: A nursing qualification recognized by the UK NMC A valid UK NMC PIN and registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Mental Health Nurse (RMN) The ability to perform physical tasks, such as assisting residents with mobility UK BASED CANDIDATES ONLY, NO SPONSOR APPLICANTS Job Type: Full-time Pay: 19.07- 20.00 per hour Benefits: Company pension Free parking Schedule: 12 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift Overtime Weekend availability Experience: Nursing: 1 year (preferred) Experience in a clinical setting (required) Licence/Certification: NMC/PIN (preferred) Work Location: In person (Maidstone)
