Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered General or Mental Health Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health care to patients, ensuring their emotional and psychological well-being. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and proficiency in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients' mental health status through thorough examinations and interviews. Develop, implement, and monitor personalised care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Provide direct nursing care, including administering medication and therapeutic interventions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Lead and mentor junior nursing staff, fostering a supportive environment for professional development. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills in mental health nursing practices. Stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health treatment and technology. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing licence in the UK. Proven experience in mental health nursing or related fields is preferred. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining patient records and documentation. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
