Come and join the Rheumatology team at Scarborough and make a difference to people living with inflammatory and autoimmune conditions on the East Coast! We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic nurse who has a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Working alongside consultants and AHP colleagues, you will be part of the nursing team to deliver specialist rheumatology care to patients at Scarborough and Bridlington hospitals. Please note you must have full active registration with the UK NMC and will be asked to provide this on your application form. Applications with Pre-Registered and non NMC pins cannot be accepted and will not be shortlisted. Main Duties of the Job

Run nurse-led clinics to provide education and information to patients and their families about managing their long-term condition. Discuss treatment options with patients and counsel them on safe and effective use of disease-modifying medication. Regularly review patients' disease activity and response to treatment using a variety of monitoring tools. Participate in the running of the nurse-led telephone advice line to provide support and advice to patients on flare management, side effects of medication, blood tests, and managing their condition. Liaise with the consultants and MDT. Keep up to date with current issues within rheumatology. About Us
