Position: Rigging Supervisor
Location: Middlesbrough
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 8-10 weeks
Shifts: 10hrs/day, 13 on 1 off
PAYE Pay Rates:
Days: 1st 38 Hrs Mon-Fri: £23.38/hr + Hol Pay
O/T 1: £32.73/hr
O/T 2: £42.08/hr
£2.37/hr Bonus
Travel & Fare / Radius Allowance
£48.16/day Lodge Allowance (if over 40 miles from site)
The Role:
Leading and supervising a team of riggers, assigning tasks, and providing guidance as needed.
Ensuring that all rigging operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Developing and implementing rigging plans and procedures for each project, considering factors such as load requirements, equipment specifications, and site conditions.
Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that rigging activities are integrated smoothly into overall project schedules.
Monitoring equipment usage and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Maintaining accurate records of rigging activities, including equipment inspections, incident reports, and personnel certifications.
Serving as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns regarding rigging operations.

CCNSG card
NVQ 3 or in Moving Loads
AP/A61
COSHH Awareness
Lifting Equipment Inspection
Rigging Loft Management
Previous experience in the heavy engineering industry; Power, O&G, Petrochemical, Renewables etc.
