Risk Advisor

to join the Legal department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.

About The Role

An opportunity has arisen to join the UK Risk & Insurance team, to drive the implementation of the group risk strategy.

Focused predominantly on supporting key stakeholders with the day to day and ongoing management of their operational risks, from project through to contractual.

To support the Head of Risk with the delivery of the wider group strategy and to support with the ERM piece.

What You Will Do

Supporting the Head of Risk with all aspects of the implementation and delivery of the group risk program. Supporting the creation of response plans through effective assessment of risk tolerance. Calculating and advising on level of tolerance and application of risk appetite policy. Regular review and reporting of risks (threats and opportunities) and ensuring compliance with corporate risk KPIs. Supporting and encouraging stakeholders to think about risk proactively rather than reactively. Extrapolating complex information to deliver simple, understandable briefs, reports and plans. Identify risks to the programme schedule and partner with Risk Owners to mitigate. Organising and supporting risk owners with the documentation and management of their risks and assisting them to effectively report on them. Providing on the ground support to operational risk owners and facilitating. About You

Appropriate degree or significant work experience. Experience of implementing risk management processes and tools in a multinational manufacturing environment, at project, programme or portfolio level. Experience of risk modelling. Experience of commercial risk management. Experience in developing and maintaining effective customer relationships. Experience in dealing with complex technical and business issues. Experience in problem solving and negotiation to resolve, minimise or mitigate risk and maximise opportunities. Excellent presentation standards, ideally highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI. What is in it for you?
