Risk and Compliance Manager (Hybrid Working)
Location: Sheffield Salary: £55k - 60k per year + Excellent Benefits Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a successful Financial Services business in Sheffield as they look to bring in a Risk & Compliance Manager into the team. This is a newly created role and will be responsible for managing 1 member of staff.

Reporting to the Head of Risk, the main purpose of the role is to develop and maintain the firm's Operational Risk Framework and compliance monitoring program so that it remains compliant with its regulatory requirements.
Other duties will include: Working closely with both the CFRO and Head of Risk as well as other members of the risk and compliance team, endorsing a collaborative approach to work. Management of Risk and Compliance Analyst; helping to train and up-skill where required. Implementing change programmes. Training, implementing, and embedding changes to the oversight framework is a critical success measure. Interacting with a diverse set of stakeholders. Considering and forming judgments on complex issues. To be successful, you will ideally have the following skills and experiences: Strong risk or controls background in financial services. In-depth knowledge of all elements of operational risk frameworks. Highly experienced in risk management oversight and challenge. Knowledge of third-party risk management. Compliance knowledge, including that of GDPR and FCA compliance would be an advantage. Practical and proactive to ensure efficient analysis of operational risk data, monitoring, and reporting. Excellent written and verbal presentational skills, with the ability to deliver complex technical information in a non-technical way. Strong analytical skills.
