Risk & Compliance Manager | Insurance Broker | North-west England | £55 - 65,000 (doe) Finitas are delighted to be partnering with a growing insurance broker in their search for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join their Retail insurance team. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Implementing and embedding controls. Ensure the effective and robust operation of the risk management framework and report any risk events and near misses. Regularly review Customer Experience MI. Drive improvement across file audit completion and pass rates, complaints outcomes, AR oversight, regulatory breaches. Ensure root cause and trend analysis is performed. Build effective relationships with both internal and external businesses - you will be working closely with senior management. Assist with the implementation of regulatory changes. Support with the implementation and embedding of actions from Compliance Monitoring reviews, Internal Audits and Insurer audits. Manage the submission of all regulatory returns and internal Group regulatory reporting. Experience required: Minimum 3 years risk and compliance experience. Must have experience of working in an insurance broking company. Strong regulatory knowledge of the FCA handbook. Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at various levels including senior stakeholders. Must have a full driving licence as there will be some travel with this role - 2/3 times a week (which is expensed). Please note that this role is remote but the travel with this role will be based around your home location - ideally North West England based.
