What you'll be doing:

In recent years, the People’s Partnership has embarked on an ambitious and exciting growth strategy which has led to a significant transformation of the business. You will provide insight and challenge to ensure business leaders develop, agree, and deliver on these ambitious, strategically aligned and risk disciplined plans.

The Risk Business Partner, part of the 2nd line Group risk function, provides critical support to the Technology Function by helping them navigate complex risks and ensuring that risk management processes are integrated into decision-making. This will enable the business to take the right levels of risk in an appropriately controlled way.

Risk Assessment & Analysis ● Partner with Technology, Cyber, and Change teams to evaluate risks, considering their potential impact and likelihood. ● Classify and prioritise risks to guide informed decision-making. Collaboration Across Teams ● Engage with Technology, Cyber, and Change and other business units to gather insights into evolving risks and their implications. ● Foster a strong partnership between the risk management function and Technology, Cyber, and Change to embed a risk-aware culture. Risk Communication ● Provide senior management with clear, actionable insights into IT-related risks, controls, and mitigation measures. ● Serve as the liaison between Technology, Cyber, and Change functions and the broader risk management framework. Change Risk Management ● Collaborate with project teams to assess risks in initiatives, ensure risk considerations are integrated from the earliest planning stages through the entire project lifecycle.

What we’re looking for:

● Experience in a first- or second-line risk role ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ● Good attention to detail and accuracy ● Good IT skills (Microsoft applications and GRC systems) ● A team player who can collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to achieve objectives ● Experience of challenging and changing the business ● Organised and able to work with a matrixed team and shared resources to organise the teams’ workload
