The client I am representing is seeking a Pension Risk and Control Senior Analyst to join the ERM team in Ipswich. You’ll embed and facilitate a risk and control framework for the business, commensurate to the requirements set out by the General Code of Practice issued by the Pensions Regulator (TPR). You'll also encompass all the risk and control frameworks in place. Responsibilities:
Taking a lead role in managing activities encompassing operational risk from an oversight perspective. Facilitating and monitoring the risk and control environment. Leading in ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to document, challenge, monitor, report, and escalate risk and control issues. Providing support to the ERM framework. Engaging with other risk & control management functions within the business (Compliance, Internal Audit, Operational Risk Assurance, Fraud, Group teams). Skills & Experience:
You’ll have obtained or worked towards a relevant risk professional qualification with an understanding of Solvency II legislation. You'll have demonstrable success in implementing operational risk/internal control frameworks within Financial Services with excellent knowledge of the Pension industry. Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building, influencing, and communication skills. Strong technical knowledge of Operational Risk Regulatory regime and reporting analysis techniques.
