. The role

This role is responsible for supporting the Head of Risk Frameworks in the delivery of Enterprise Risk Framework, Directives and Policies, as well as embedding Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSAs) across Railpen. You will be able to influence the evolution and maintenance of the various Enterprise Risk Policy and Frameworks including emerging risks, model risk, and new as we mature the risk environment. We are looking for someone with experience as a Risk Framework Analyst, who has a clear understanding of Enterprise Risk Frameworks. You will have an awareness and appreciation for external events and changes that could have a potential impact on Enterprise risk within Railpen and use this insight to help develop best practice. An understanding of (RCSAs) would be a distinct advantage as you will be supporting the Head of Risk Frameworks in the delivery of the RCSA, as part of the Enterprise Risk Strategy. Experience with an ERM system and/or PowerBi would be an advantage, however this isn’t essential. The successful candidate will build effective relationships within the Enterprise Risk team [which includes Risk Business Partners and a Risk Event Manager] and other Business Units Functions to equip them with the appropriate information. We are looking for an individual who is self-directed and can take ownership of tasks, who’s keen to role model a positive can-do attitude and high standards in delivery. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present reports and findings to non-technical stakeholders is key. You will demonstrate effective organisational skills and a proven ability to adapt and re-plan due to competing priorities. A willingness to learn and develop is essential to enable you to expand your knowledge and help to instil a culture of continuous improvement within Risk.
