We are looking for a Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist to lead the transformation of governance, risk, and compliance practices across the organisation. This is a strategic leadership role tasked with unifying risk management approaches across departments, breaking down silos, and driving consistent implementation of governance frameworks. You'll ensure that enterprise-wide risk and compliance practices align with the organisation's strategic goals, enabling proactive risk mitigation and supporting informed decision-making at the executive level. This role is based on-site in Manchester, requiring attendance Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Risk Management:

Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide risk management framework. Partner with leadership to align risk appetite and tolerance with business strategy. Manage the enterprise risk register, ensuring proactive mitigation and reporting to the CISO. Deliver insights on risk trends, governance maturity, and strategic initiatives to the CISO and executive team. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure risks are consistently identified, assessed, and mitigated across all business areas. This role is critical in ensuring governance and risk practices are embedded across all areas of the organisation, fostering collaboration and enabling leadership to make informed decisions. Governance Frameworks:

Develop and maintain governance policies across all departments, ensuring alignment with global standards. Establish mechanisms to implement, monitor, and enforce adherence to governance principles organisation-wide. Compliance Leadership:

Oversee compliance activities for critical regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIS). Collaborate with IT, Security, and legal teams to integrate compliance into daily business practices. Strategic Advisory:

Provide high-level analysis and recommendations to the executive team on risk trends and governance improvements. What You'll Bring to the Role

Proven experience in enterprise risk management and governance, ideally in a global or complex organisational environment. Expertise in regulatory and compliance frameworks, including GDPR and NIS. Exceptional ability to influence and communicate effectively with C-suite stakeholders.
