As our Risk, Insurance and Compliance Manager you'll play an important role in ensuring the continued effective operation of Southern Co-op.

We are seeking someone who can understand our business, can develop sensible approaches and facilitate genuine buy-in from colleagues and stakeholders. Moreover, we are seeking someone who understands that delivering these business areas is more than just writing a policy and expecting others to follow it. This is a broad and varied role, so if you haven't got experience in all these business areas, we will support you with the development you need.

What to expect..

Manage insurance including policies, renewals, claims process. Manage our licensing regime, helping to ensure we have the right licenses for our business. Accountable for the management of licensing requirements. Be responsible for the development of our Business Continuity framework. Support the compliance monitoring activities on our FCA Regulated business. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and departments.

What we're looking for..

Experience of Enterprise Risk Management and delivery. Involvement in managing or supporting Business Continuity. Experience dealing with insurance policies, claims handling, loss adjusters. Awareness of Internal Audit and Compliance functions, objectives and methodologies. Experience in developing and delivering plans to identify and fulfil compliance requirements. Strong organisation & analytical skills and high attention to detail. Be proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating IT systems. Possess excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
