RN - Mobile Director of Nursing - Long Term Care

CommuniCare is currently recruiting an experienced DON to assume the role of
RN Mobile Director of Nursing.
This RN Mobile DON position covers our West Virginia facilities and requires state-wide travel to the various facilities as needed. WHAT WE OFFER: Estimated annual pay rate:

Job Requirements: Current RN license in the state of West Virginia Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience as DON Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to multi-task and oversee functions at multiple facilities Ability to travel, sometimes for an extended time, to facilities within the region, as needed. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration. Strong leadership and organizational skills The ability to communicate well with employees and families about their issues Must maintain current CPR certification Responsibilities: Evaluate facility compliance to clinical policy, procedure, and care Visit facilities weekly for intervention, audit, and training Train new nursing management Monitor readiness for State Survey and assist during surveys Aid in Plan of Correction process Qualified candidates, please respond to this ad with your resume and salary requirements for confidential consideration.
