Position Summary We have a fantastic opportunity within our expanding European Transport Hub team as a Road Transportation Procurement Partner. We are looking for an experienced Procurement/ Transport professional to join our team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, but we are always open to discuss individual’s flexible working needs so please speak to us during the recruitment process on what this could look like. The Hub has responsibility for planning and executing Nestlé’s transportation within Europe that simplifies and standardizes our European transportation processes. We manage the transport of intermarket flows between Nestlé‘s European factories and distribution centres, as well as inbound raw and packaging materials. Road Transportation Procurement Partner

is a key enabler and responsible for the implementation of the group's road transportation procurement strategy defined "above the markets".

You will be responsible for performing the procurement activities required to support and materialize the global targets and agreements defined by the Nestrade Procurement Division (NPD) team.

You will develop relationships with carriers, setting up a comprehensive review process and providing improvement inputs to THUB operations. You will support the operations team on a daily basis regarding escalations and capacity shortfalls whilst actively ensuring the deployment and execution of the global roadmap is achieved.

Main responsibilities will include: Implement the category's strategies in accordance with the guidance given by the Category Manager, including sustainability projects. Support the NPD team to collect and understand the market needs whilst supporting and managing the tender processes and assisting in the implementation of the deals agreed and closed by the team. Support supplier performance and act as point of commercial escalation to meet business needs. Enable efficiencies and savings. Establish relationships with different stakeholders to communicate and explain the benefits of the category strategy adoption including SLA reviews. Maintain data and perform analytics using Excel and Power BI. Ensure compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, standards and Procurement Policy, Procurement Standardized Model, Nestlé Supplier Code, Best Practices. What will make you successful Ideally, you’ll come from an international transport sourcing background with experience in a transport/logistics operational role. Hands-on experience buying at a regional level with knowledge and experience of the UK and European third-party logistics market will help you be successful in this role.

Other key skills required: Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations is essential. Experience managing stakeholders in terms of negotiation and commercial conversations. Ability to convince others and to use network to influence business activity. Experience in root cause analysis of issues and ability to challenge the norm. Strong Microsoft Excel and data analytical skills. Agility to develop and sustain in a transitional organization while showing strong interpersonal skills. Agility and resilience will be important when dealing with different market challenges. Influencing skills and the flexibility to adapt your approach.
