Robotics Software Engineer to join our team at our

Lincoln, UK,

premises as part of the Research Project ‘ HiRes-Soils:

Robotic platforms for high-resolution maps of soil carbon and GHG emissions’

, funded by the Innovate UK agency. Qualifications and experience -Degree in (but not exclusively) Computer Science or Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Agricultural Engineering. -Professionally proficient in English (written and spoken) for non-English native speakers. -Experience in code development specialized in ROS (Melodic version) using C++ and Python, with strong skills in integrating APIs for communication between different software components. The role also involves working with hardware (CCU), requiring basic knowledge of sensors, actuators, and embedded systems.
