We are currently working on behalf of our client, a reputable company in the renewable energy sector, to find a skilled and experienced Roofing Manager. Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Roofing Manager to oversee and audit workers involved in the installation of solar panels on roofs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in roofing, coupled with strong leadership skills to effectively guide and instruct workers in their roles. Responsibilities: Manage and supervise roofing workers engaged in the installation of solar panels on various types of roofs. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements. Provide technical guidance and instruction to workers to optimize efficiency and quality of workmanship. Collaborate with project managers to coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and project timelines. Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities for roofing team members. Monitor project progress and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the installation process. Maintain accurate records of project activities, including materials used, labor hours, and project milestones. Uphold company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellence. Requirements: Proven experience in the roofing industry, with a strong understanding of roofing techniques, materials, and safety protocols. Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely. Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. Detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to upholding quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements. Relevant certifications or qualifications in roofing and/or project management are desirable.
