Position: Room Architect The Room Architect is responsible for the pre-sales engineering and design of conference rooms and spaces. The Room Architect assesses the business objectives for conference spaces and creates a solution based on Yorktel’s product strategy and standards. The primary deliverables of this role are the Proposal, Bill of Materials (BoM), and Scope of Work (SOW). The Room Architect will review the solutions and costs with the client along with the Account Manager. The successful candidate must have a broad knowledge of conference room technology and solutions and how the individual components are integrated to form systems that meet client’s business requirements. You must be able to create conceptual diagrams to detail the design intent. A working knowledge of network architecture, videoconferencing systems, and supporting infrastructure is required. CTS and CTS-D certification are desired, along with knowledge, certification, and experience with leading audio-visual suppliers within the industry. The Room Architect will assess client requirements and create standards-based solutions that will support those requirements. Room Architects work with clients to create room standards and to update them as technology, requirements, and products change. They are responsible for setting the installation and support teams up for success by using standard products and thoroughly documenting solutions, scope of work, and system functionality. This position will work closely with the sales and engineering team to create and document high-quality designs. The Sales Engineer will be an expert on conference technology and solutions and will make recommendations to clients and peers based on that expertise. The candidate must be able to work independently and build trusted working relationships with account managers and customers. Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with Account Managers to meet business objectives and client expectations. Assist with the qualification of new opportunities. Support multiple requests and clients while prioritizing workload. Work closely with Solutions Architects and engineers to ensure that solutions are practical and supportable. Effectively coordinate and manage multiple tasks and meetings. Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. Interact with end-users and staff to successfully identify and document specific client requirements. Provide excellent customer service. Collaborate with others in a stressful and fast-paced environment. Exhibit teamwork and a clear understanding of Yorktel’s business. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. Adhere to all internal Yorktel policies and procedures. Translate AV speak into IT speak and lay terms. Technical Job Responsibilities:

Assess client business objectives and design solutions that meet these requirements. Create conceptual designs explaining the high-level connectivity of system components. Create a complete and accurate bill of materials that supports the required functionality. Document the project scope accurately and completely. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, new products, and technologies. Possess detailed knowledge of conference room design principles and best practices. Research and vet solutions for unusual or complex projects. Mandatory Technical Certifications:
