About the role: The role is responsible for producing and delivering daily/weekly rosters for traincrew across the entire GWR network. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Rostering around contingency plans, Log all crew leave applications received and process these in accordance with local agreements, Manage the release of traincrew to meet the requirements of the Company's route and traction training programme, Liaise with the Diagramming Manager regarding compilation of traincrew links at time of major permanent timetable alterations. The role also involves working in tandem with our Resource Team to maximise service coverage opportunities. Minimum Requirements: Applicants must also meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the role of Roster Manager: Be naturally proactive with a good eye for detail. Be able to follow and implement agreed rostering rules consistently. Knowledge of the GWR network. Computer literate ideally in Office 365 (additional training will be provided for railway specific applications). Professional, clear communication and interpersonal skills.
