We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Rotational Band 5 Dietitian with a passion for food and nutrition to join our friendly and supportive nutrition and dietetic team at the Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust.

The role will rotate between the acute adult and community dietetic teams. There will be opportunities to work across inpatients, outpatients, and domiciliary settings and review patients from multiple specialties. You will work, learn, and develop alongside Speech and Language, Occupational, and Physiotherapy colleagues in the hospital as well as the colleagues in community teams and work collaboratively for the benefit of our patients.

We are always looking for ways to improve patient care and the Dietetics department is excited to have led on the purchase of an indirect calorimeter, via charitable funds, to improve our estimation of nutritional requirements which the post holder will have the opportunity to train on and use in their clinical practice.

This post will be actively involved with student training from the Universities of Plymouth and Winchester, responsible for a clinical caseload of patients with a range of conditions, requiring competent clinical practice for inpatients, outpatients, and domiciliary care with guidance and support from more experienced colleagues as required.

At the RUH, we put people at the heart of what we do, working together as one team to make a difference for our patients, each other, and our community. We value everyone's contribution in supporting the exceptional, person-centred care we pride ourselves on.

We are proud to be in the top 20 best hospitals to work for in the country. We are committed to creating a compassionate and inclusive environment, which can be seen in our growing community of staff networks - celebrating successes and creating opportunities to listen and learn. We value our differences, champion kindness and civility, and truly believe that diversity makes us stronger.

A culture of learning, developing, and innovating is the thread that runs throughout our whole organisation. We want to support you to thrive, taking your career to its full potential. We value staff well-being, with a well-established programme of support. We believe in a holistic approach spanning all aspects of living a healthy life, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial well-being.
