We are one of the first Integrated Care Systems (ICS) in the country to offer an occupational therapy rotation across the local health system, through strong partnership working. This post is an ideal opportunity for newly qualified Occupational Therapists or those seeking to widen their career opportunities through working in a range of specialties and settings. Employed by SCHT, the post holder will rotate every 6 months across community rehabilitation, community hospitals, acute sector, and also Midland Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Robert Jones Agnes Hunt. Employed by SCHT, the post holder will rotate every 6 months across The Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin ICS. This includes Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH); Robert Jones Agnes Hunt (RJAH); Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust (SCHT) and Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). This will allow exposure to a variety of settings, increasing your skills and knowledge base and supporting you to explore where your career might take you. Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy Current registration with HCPC Evidence of clinical experience Experience

A range of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist/student including rehabilitation/care of the elderly Experience of working in multi-disciplinary/multi-agency teams. Experience working with therapy assistants Knowledge and Skills

Ongoing awareness of recent developments in practice and research including NSF’s/NICE guidelines Understanding of clinical governance and risk management and their implications for the service. Effective communication within the team Other

Must be able to meet the travel requirements of the role. Employer certification / accreditation badges

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
