The post will offer rotations through a number of our specialty areas including: Complex Health Cardiology/Respiratory Medicine Surgery Plastics & Orthopaedics/Trauma Stroke Rehabilitation Cystic Fibrosis
You will receive support from a clinical lead and team lead and have the opportunity to supervise and mentor junior staff members and students.
Your responsibilities will include: Working clinically in specialist rotational areas. Completing relevant assessments, facilitating safe and timely discharges, and conducting access and home visits depending on the clinical area. Attending Best Interest and discharge planning meetings. Completing equipment adaptation risk assessments and ordering required equipment for patient discharge. Supervising and mentoring junior team members, including B5, B4, and B3 team members, through supervision, appraisal, peer support, and training opportunities. Providing educator support for visiting students and apprentices. Contributing to service development opportunities and participating in audits. Supporting recruitment through shortlisting and interviewing.
