You will have a role developing your Physiotherapy practice and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation and assessments for clients within community hospitals. Main duties of the job
You will be given the opportunity to build and maintain key relationships with acute and community referrers to the services as well as partners in the community, across CLCH, including the Community Therapy and Falls Prevention Service, Stroke and Rehabilitation Units, Parkinson’s Unit, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases team, Learning Disabilities, Wheelchair services and Musculoskeletal Outpatient services. This post will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, rehabilitation assistants, and students, and participate in any audit or development being undertaken by the service. To undertake a variety of rotations (orthopaedics, respiratory and acute assessment ward, stroke/ elderly/ neuro rehabilitation wards, Musculo-Skeletal Outpatients, Community Therapy Team) in order to provide a broad base for both personal and professional development. This will involve working in a number of settings including care homes, residential units, patient homes, hospital wards, special schools, mainstream schools, clinics and may involve up to 6 locations at any one time. Qualifications
Current AHP with UK HCPC registration Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy Experience
Placements whilst Student, broad range of clinical placements as undergraduate Evidence of up-to-date CPD Experience of working as part of an MDT Use of functional assessment and activity analysis. Evidence of previous employment as a Physiotherapist, apprentice, assistant Experience of delegation to support staff Skills and Knowledge
