45 Commando Royal Marines (45 Cdo RM) is based at Royal Marines Condor in Angus on the edge of Arbroath town. It is an Operational Unit providing UK contingency components to the MOD in a myriad of forms.
The unique opportunity is offered within the Unit to support the establishment’s training infrastructure which are subject to UK compliance standards. The 45 Cdo RM estate helps support Navy Commands role to generate and operate forces for today and to ensure we are ready for tomorrow by developing and delivering the Royal Marines of the future.
You will be an essential part of the Estate Management team. The Facilities Support worker will directly support the management, use and maintenance of vital training facilities across the Unit.
Civil Service (CS) Staff directly provide support to Unit training and operational activities. Working within the Logistics Coy, the Job Holder will provide critical facilities support function with the maintenance of training facilities across the Unit.

The Facilities Support role is an essential estate management function at 45 Cdo RM.
Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and serviceability of the RM Condor 25m Range and equipment as and when required. To operate the Dismounted Close Combat Trainer when directed by the Training Facilities Manager and to support the Systems Manager with the maintenance of the building, weapons and equipment.
Responsible for the maintenance of CQB Hanger cleanliness, maintenance and serviceability of the RM Condor Artificial Ski Slope and equipment as and when required. Cleanliness, maintenance, and serviceability of OBUA houses. Person Specification
