We are expanding our operations in Australia and are currently recruiting an RTO Instructional Designer, to work in MTC’s registered training organisation, Training & Safety Solutions. As the RTO Instructional Designer, you will design and develop high-quality accredited and non-accredited training materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Your work will directly enhance learning outcomes and align with Training and Safety Solutions (TSS) goals for blended, online, and digital education. In your new role, you will: Develop and implement innovative, flexible learning and development solutions that meet business objectives and AQF pathways. Create and maintain Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), learning resources, and assessment tools in compliance with ASQA and RTO requirements. Collaborate with Trainers, Assessors, and subject matter experts to design blended, online, and face-to-face training content. Conduct pre- and post-validation reviews of training materials to ensure quality, compliance, and relevance. Manage multiple projects to deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines. Support the evaluation of learning programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure the Learning Management System (LMS) is accurate and up to date. Provide professional development support to Trainers and Assessors in online and blended teaching methodologies. Drive innovation in pedagogical practices, contributing to TSS’s eLearning vision. Foster compliance with RTO standards, ensuring all training activities meet organisational and legislative requirements. ABOUT YOU You are a creative and detail-oriented professional with a passion for designing effective learning experiences. Your expertise in instructional design, compliance with ASQA standards, and project management ensures that training programs are both innovative and aligned with business objectives. To be successful, you will: Hold a TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development (or its replacement) and a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its replacement). Demonstrate experience in instructional design and understanding of RTO compliance frameworks, AQF standards, and VET systems. Have proven skills in designing learning resources and assessments for blended, digital, and online environments. Showcase strong project management, organisational, and communication skills. Possess advanced written communication and IT skills, including LMS management. Exhibit the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and collaborate on learning pathways. Be adaptable, results-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement in training and education. Maintain necessary health, security, and police clearances, and comply with travel and vaccination requirements.
