Rust Protocol Engineer - Layer 2 Up to $325,000 (+Bonus/Tokens) We are partnered with a Layer-2 protocol using zero-knowledge proof to scale Ethereum. You would join the Core founding Team, responsible for the development of their protocol and Rust systems at both Layer-1 (not much on this level yet) and of course Layer-2 level. The successful Senior Protocol Engineer will: Design and implement a smart contract platform (Solidity/Rust) Develop at L1 and L2 (system contracts and server-side changes) Advance the protocol through research, design, prototyping, and engineering Research independently within your area of specialism We are looking for the following skills and experiences for the Senior Protocol Engineer: Strong understanding of Ethereum / EVM Expertise with Solidity and Rust In-depth knowledge and implementation of algorithms and data structures A Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields Experience in cryptography is a big plus as the project starts implementing ZK pieces in the future...
