The purpose of this role is to: Conduct multi-agency risk assessments on vulnerability reports. Engage in discussions with partner agencies in order to decide on the most appropriate intervention. In conjunction with partner agencies assess information about the likelihood of the referred person suffering harm, ensuring sound decision making in relation to any future action to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. Accurately record decisions on Police and Partner Agency systems and share information appropriately in respect of Safeguarding and Early Help. Interrogate databases and research relevant information to assist in the identification and management of risk and protection of children and vulnerable persons. Communicate and liaise with professionals from divisions, departments, and partner agencies to deal with a wide variety of issues. Provide close administrative support for MASH Safeguarding Co-ordinator including word processing, electronic mailing, and preparation of statistical data as required. Carry out any other duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities, and grading of the post. There is one full-time position.
