Lancashire Constabulary's Fleet Management Division is seeking an
Automotive Technician
to be based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site.
The purpose of this role is to support operational policing by servicing, repairing and maintaining fleet vehicles efficiently to manufacturers' specifications, whilst adhering to the Ministry of Transport regulations. This includes the installation and maintenance of ICT, radio, and role equipment fitted to fleet vehicles to maximise vehicle availability within Lancashire Constabulary. Additionally, the role involves providing technical support and specialist advice to staff regarding the maintenance and care of fleet vehicles.
The successful candidate will be required to work in accordance with the below:
4 days a week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 07:00-17:05
