This pivotal full-time, locum position offers an enriching environment where your expertise helps shape a safer community by supporting the delivery of Lewisham’s Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy 2021–2026. Earn £32.00 hourly while serving as the cornerstone of effective administration, coordination, and development for DA MARAC.

What you will do: Coordinate and administrate the Lewisham DA MARAC, ensuring the seamless operation and optimal performance of meetings. Spearhead the development and delivery of training for practitioners on the MARAC process and risk assessment protocols. Prepare agendas, manage case referrals, and produce precise minutes for each MARAC meeting. Maintain and analyse referral, outcome, and demographic data to spot emerging trends and identify gaps in service provision. Work collaboratively with both statutory and voluntary agencies to cater to the needs of victims, focusing on those from underrepresented groups. Drive the delivery of community engagement and partnership initiatives as outlined in the VAWG Strategy. Stay current with legislative and policy updates related to VAWG, ensuring all practices are compliant with the latest standards. About You: We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to reducing violence and supporting victims. The ideal candidate will have: Knowledge and Experience Comprehensive understanding of VAWG legislation, policies, and strategies, including the Lewisham Domestic Abuse and VAWG Strategy. Proven experience in coordinating multi-agency projects, particularly in supporting vulnerable groups or victims of VAWG. Strong skills in data management, analysis, and reporting. Skills and Attributes Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders and deliver impactful training. A flexible, solution-focused approach to challenges. Qualifications Degree in a relevant discipline or significant equivalent experience. Awareness of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2) is desirable.
