Must hold a valid SC Security Clearance (or higher) About Our Client: Our client is a respected consultancy delivering critical safety solutions to the Defence sector. Their work spans explosives, maritime safety, land systems, and high-hazard facilities, ensuring safety compliance and risk mitigation in some of the most demanding environments. They foster a collaborative and supportive culture, investing in their team’s professional growth. About The Role: As a Safety Consultant, you’ll contribute to key safety management programmes and activities, including: Developing Safety and Environmental Cases. Conducting hazard and risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP, SWIFT, Bowtie, LOPA). Supporting compliance with safety regulations such as Def Stan 00-56 and DSA standards. Engaging in business development activities to expand client accounts. Providing expert consultancy to defence and high-hazard clients. What We’re Looking For: Strong background in safety management within Defence, Maritime, Land, Explosives Safety, or high-hazard sectors. Experience with safety assessment techniques (e.g., HAZOP, SWIFT, FMECA). Familiarity with UK Defence safety standards and regulations (e.g., DSA02-DMR, DSA03-OME, JSP 815). Proven track record in technical report writing and client engagement. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional qualification (preferred).
