What the role involves
- Develop Safety Requirements and identify appropriate verification and validation methods.
- Construct arguments, based upon evidence gathered to support safety claims.
- Present the outcomes of safety analysis to Integrated Project Teams and Customers.
- Deliver safe products.
Skills and requirements
- Use your Safety Analysis skills across the full system lifecycle: from requirements identification through design, development, manufacture system integration, acceptance testing,.
- Take part in incident or observation analysis as required.
- Experience analysing complex systems from a safety perspective, considering the system functions.
- Knowledge and experience of Safety Case Report development for complex systems within an Electronics or Avionics discipline.
Candidate fit
- Motivated, with a desire to learn new technologies and continuously refine your craft.
- Ability to work across a number of sub-system teams to develop the system solution, coping with a high degree of design complexity and significant levels of uncertainty.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Additional role context
- Working within the Company Safety and Environmental Management System you will.
- Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments ensuring that the products are complaint with applicable legislation.
- Work closely with many different engineering disciplines, customers, partners and suppliers to solve complex problems.
